- Managing Director, Head of Business AML Risk Organization (Global Wealth Management, USA)
- Adam leads the Business AML Risk Organization within the UBS Global Wealth Management, USA Business Risk Organization (1st Line of Defense). In this role Adam provides strategic direction and oversees the GWM USA AML Program (collaborating and partnering with Field Leadership, Business Risk Management, KYC Operations, IT, Financial Crime Prevention Compliance Partners) by championing the integration of FCP considerations within: (1) the development of new products / services; (2) the simplification & automation of Client Lifecycle Management infrastructure and (3) the take on / monitoring of high-risk clients. Prior to this role Adam led the UBS Investment Bank Global Financial Crime Prevention team (2nd Line of Defense), who advised and partnered with UBS' Global Banking & Global Markets Businesses and Client Lifecycle Management teams on FCP-related regulatory compliance, strategic initiatives, and operational enhancements. In this role Adam also performed the UK MLRO role for UBS AG, London Branch prior to re-locating to New York in August 2019 (where he assumed the Chief BSA/AML Officer roles for the three UBS IB US entities at this juncture). Adam is a qualified lawyer and prior to UBS, worked within Financial Crime Prevention Compliance teams at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank in London.
