Chief Compliance Officer

Marianne Yen is Chief Compliance Officer of CTBC Bank Co. Ltd., New York Branch. CTBC is the largest bank in Taiwan and its New York operations are supervised by the Federal Reserve and the New York State Department of Financial Services. Marianne is an Attorney at Law with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 10 years with Morgan Stanley. She transitioned from Legal to Compliance at Morgan Stanley and has spent the last 10 years specializing in Compliance and Risk Management, with a stint as the Head of Strategic Risk at Barclays Wealth Management. Prior to joining CTBC, Marianne served as the subject matter expert on a three-year Monitorship of a global bank under a Consent Order for sanctions violations. Marianne also teaches part time at Columbia Law School, her alma mater.
